Start with one person

A parent, a grandparent, your spouse, or yourself. Begin with the person whose voice, memories and point of view your family wants to preserve.

Plan the material

The film can draw from an interview, family photographs, letters, objects, places or other personal material. The format stays simple until the story and source material are clear.
